First of all, welcome Ramadhan and happy fasting everyone. May Allah grant us good health during this holy month so that we can do extra pahala :)
Thought of writing this for quite some time. and i think Ramadhan would be the best month to start off. There are a lot of ways to be happy and it is natural for everyone to feel anger, frustrated, depressed and other negative emotions. but how we cope and turns it into a beautiful and positive emotions is important. you see, when you have all the positive emotions in your heart it will actually gives you a positive vibes. That positive vibes is the secret of success, the secret of being centre of attraction, the secret of giving a good first impression.
so how meh? :')
The first way to be happy is by giving. Be generous in giving. For first timer, you might want to starts off with Sadaqah for those who needs it. the best and easy way to do this is by donating it to the mosque fund. make it as your habit whenever you went to the mosque, donate some of your money there. it is not about how much you put, it is the thought that counts.
If you found by giving money is not giving you any happier (maybee), you can start contributing yourself to charity work. helping other people with disseminating food to beggars, cleaning old folks house, teach subjects you are good at the orphanage house and a lot more. you can search through the internet the nearest location for these places and start make a phone call. by giving yourself to help other people, you are getting a bigger heart. you might not see it in physical but your heart will remain positive, Insha-Allah. There is something special when you give people anything you can offer with, it is the joy of seeing other people happiness. and you're part of making it happen. how great is that? :)
or the least you can do and start RIGHT NOW is to smile. don't worry, people won't say u're insane if you're smile at your laptop, ipad or handphones. it is normal. tehee.
